The new Olympus TG-6 is the lastest addition to the Olympus Tough Series - a series of, waterproof, compact, nearly indestructible underwater cameras.  It is packed with great features, including a number of special modes which are optimized for underwater photography, like microscope mode for macro photos. It features a new, super-fast f/2.0 wide-angle lens, and a 12 MP image sensor that provides fantastic image quality. The camera also boasts an ability to capture 4K videos!  Additional focusing features such as face detection AF, focus area selection, and manual focus, with or without assist and focus peaking, make this camera a breeze to shoot. This camera might as well be an instrument of science with built-in field sensors including a GPS, manometer, compass, and temperature sensor.  The Olympus TG-6 sure can take a beating as it is waterproof (up to50ft), shockproof, freezeproof, and crushproof! Powerful Imaging
Rugged on the outside, sophisticated Olympus technologies on the inside. The new TG-6 comes equipped with a high-speed and high resolution zoom lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a very fast back-lit 12 MP CMOS image sensor. The sensor yields fantastic lowlight performance and allows you to take very detailed images in ultra low-light situations. This is especially great for fast moving subjects. The anti-reflective coating that is incorporated into the sensor's sealing glass helps to prevent ghosting and flares. This is one of the exciting upgrades from the Olympus TG-5. Tough cameras have the power to create incredibly crisp and bright shots, even in low-light environments (like underwater) or when you’re on the move. 4K and high speed video on this camera are both excellent on this camera, especially in a quick moment like when a shark swims by. Tough is all you’ll need to capture every adventure and tell every story.
Raw Capture
The camera allows you to save your photos in a RAW file format which makes processing a lot easier, and offers you more customization capabilities.
Pro Capture Mode
The new features ensures you capture photos of your subject at the exact moment! Press the shutter halfway and it will buffer a series of images. Once the shutter is full depressed, it will save the previous 5 frames as well. This provides you 6 photos and makes sure that you have the right timing for your photo. Gone are the days when shutter lag causes you to miss a shot!
