Recsea Housing for the Canon G16
Product Overview:
Recsea has just released another housing for the new Canon G16 canera. Â The "G" series cameras are know for their excelent macro capabilty. Â The G16 shows better image quality, color depth, dynamic range, and less noise at high ISO's. Â The Recsea housing for "G" series cameras are always a top choice due to they're ability to accomodate the UWL-04 fisheye lens port
The Recsea G16 housing:
The housing is a work of art. It is machined from a solid block of high-quality aluminum. It offers front and rear control wheels, and a small, light size. Adding the high-quality UWL-04 fisheye lens gives you a stunning 165 degree angle of view for wide-angle photography.
- The Recsea G16 is the best option for macro photography. The G16 has the sharpest lens on the market in our opinion for macro, and offers the most magnification. Â Try in with a BWP+7 Â diopter for super macro!
- This housing is one of the best compact camera option for wide-angle when coupled with the UWL-04 Â fisheye, and offers the widest angle of view on a compact
- The Canon G16 is currently one of the top compact cameras on the market, with pro style controls and performance
- Unlike the Canon housings, the Recsea G16 offers access to the rear and front control wheels, a must for photography with a strobe. It weighs 1/3rd the weight of the Ikelite housing.
- Battery life is great, this is one of the few compact cameras that can actual last for 3 dives on 1 battery
- Some of the best underwater photos we have ever seen from a compact are with the G16
Recommended Wet Lens
- Widest option - UWL-04 fisheye lens for G-series  (must be changed on land)
- AOI UWL-09 Wide Angle Lens  gives excellent wide-angle results
- Bluewater +7 macro lens - very sharp, gives great magnification
