Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K: A First Look!

 

Blackmagic did it again! After the success of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K, they have recently released the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. It still features a small and compact body with the addition of amazing 6K video resolution, which can capture 6144 x 3456 up to 50 fps. It's capable of recording RAW or ProRes 422, which is a similar feature in higher end cinema cameras. RAW footage opens up a new world of color grading, white balance changes, and shadows/highlights recovery. The camera features a Canon EF Mount which gives you lots of high quality lens options. We expect the BMPCC 6K will be a game changer with its capabilities, size and price-points and controls.
