The Sony 10-18mm F4 wide-angle lens is a great rectilinear wide-angle zoom lens for Sony APS-C mirrorless cameras like the A6000and A6500. The smaller sensor size of APS-C cameras means you get an equivalent focal range of 15-27mm when using this lens.
If your goal is to capture ultra-wide landscapes or seascapes, then the Sony 10-18mm F4 is the lens for you. Image quality is excellent, and with a constant aperture of f/4 through its focal range, it also performs well in low light conditions. The built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) means you're also able to capture smooth handheld video footage whether you find yourself shooting topside or under the waves.
This exceptionally sharp ultra-wide-angle zoom lens lends itself perfectly to underwater photography, but remember that you need a larger dome port, 6 inches or larger.
