New for 2015!
IKELITE
Ikelite has announced several new housings that we're looking forward to getting our hands on this week at DEMA. These include new mirrorless housings - a line they have not yet ventured into much. New housings include the Olympus OM-D E-M10, Olympus PEN E-PL7 and even a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Housing.
In addtion Ikelite is debuting some new Fluorescent filters for its DS-160/161 strobes and the Vega light in response to the popularity of this new trend in photography!
LIGHT & MOTION
Light & Motion has long been the leader in innovative diving and video lights and they're continuing the tradition with several new lights they'll be premiering at Dema. These include a new Video Pro 8000 light offering a wide 90 degree beam with a stunning 8000 lumens, all in a small package the same size as the old Sola 4000.
New Sola lights include a Video 3000 adding more high power to the popular Sola line of very small, easy to use video lights. This light also features a 90 degree beam angle a nice upgrade from previous Sola lights. New dive lights include a 1200 Spot and a new Tech Laser featuring a green laser pointer in the center of the 600 lumen dive light - great for pointing out important things to your dive buddy underwater.
SEA & SEA
Sea & Sea has their new YS-03 Universal Lighting System, which was recently released. We'll be getting the full scoop on this new strobe as well as all the insight on upcoming housings for 2015!
AQUATICA
As always Aquatica will be releasing some great new DSLR housings during DEMA, including the new A7DMKII housing for the Canon 7DMKII camera. A much anticpiated upgrade from the very popular 7D camera, the 7DMKII is sure to be a hit underwater, and Aquatica's tradition of quality, rugged aluminum housings should not disappoint. In addition, Amphibico - Aquatica's video couterpart has announced a new HDMI monitor.
RECSEA
Recsea recently released an entire new line of housings, the CW line. This line branches into a new market of underwater housings, offering high quality, precision engineering in an affordable polycarbonate housing. Separate from their well known aluminum housings for the compact cameras, the new CW line offers users a option based on how much they want to spend, and what their end goal is for photography. The CW housings do not offer all the features of the higher end aluminum versions.
iTORCH
While no new announcements have come out recently, iTorch will definitely have some new lights to debut, including the Venom 35s and Venom50 which were announced a few months ago.
NAUTICAM
Nauticam will be displaying several new housings for upcoming dSLR relases, such as the 7DMKII, and we're sure to see some innovative new accessory at the show, as they are always working to come up with the next cool thing to make your underwater photography better and more enjoyable!
