Product Overview:

The Fantasea FA-2 LED Strobe Trigger activates underwater strobes to fire in sync with the camera using fiber optic cables. It can easily be attached to the camera using its hot-shoe connection. 

Strobe Trigger Features:

• Improved Camera Battery Life - Instead of using the camera's flash, The Fantasea FA-3 uses 2 small LED light to trigger the strobes. It utilizes less power, therefore, extends the battery life of the camera. 
• Recycle Time - Since it uses 2 small LED light, recycle time is reduced compared to the cameras flash. This is great for shooting action shots.
• Reduced Condensation - This does not heat compared to the cameras flash which reduces the chances condensation inside the housing.

Compatibility:

• Fantasea mirrorless housings with Fantasea's Hybrid Vacuum Safety System M16A
• Other camera housings with fiber optic strobe connection and sufficient space inside the housing

Important Notices:

• For best and most reliable performance, it is recommended to usewith quality multi-core fiber optic cables available in the market such as Sea & Sea Fiber Optic Cable, Ikelite Fiber Optic Cable and Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cable.
• The Sea & Sea YS-D2J strobe cannot be triggered with the FA-2 LED Strobe Trigger.
