Your GoPro action camera is waterproof down to 33 feet. So in order to be able to go deeper, one needs to place your Go Pro action camera inside a dive housing. GoPro offers a basic housing which is waterproof down to 60m/330ft, and should provide adequate protection for most recreational dives.
