This battery pack is designed to work with the Ikelite DS230 Strobes. It is a Nickel-Metal Hydride battery which is safer than Lithium, fully able to travel on all airplanes. This dedicated battery pack is much more powerful than AA battery cells, providing more power and a much faster recycle rate to the Ikelite strobes.
We always recommend having spare batteries available when traveling.
Note: If you need the replacement/spare Ni-MH Battery pack for the DS162, DS161, DS160 and DS125, this is what you need.
