The Ikelite RC2 TTL Receiver is a nifty little device converts your Ikelite DS strobe's electrical bulkhead to a fiber optic connection, allowing you to use it with compatible Ikelite TTL Fiber Optic Transmitters.
How it Works
Think of the RC2 TTL Receiver as a translator between your camera's housing and your strobe.
It attaches directly to your Ikelite DS strobe's electrical bulkhead, replacing your old sync cord connector. Then, you simply plug a compatible fiber optic cord into the receiver.
Your camera housing needs a compatible Ikelite TTL Fiber Optic Transmitter. This transmitter sends signals via fiber optic cables to the receiver, which then triggers your strobe with perfect timing and power, thanks to TTL technology.
Compatibility: What You Need to Know
Before you get too excited, it's crucial to understand that the RC2 TTL Receiver is designed specifically for Ikelite DS strobes and Ikelite TTL systems. It won't work with non-Ikelite strobes or older, non-digital Ikelite strobes. Always double-check compatibility to ensure seamless integration with your existing gear.
