- Lightweight and compact ultra-precision cast aluminum body
Lightweight and compact ultra-precision cast aluminum body
The X-2 R6ii combines design, weight, and durability in a way that is unparalleled by its corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy construction and ultraprecise casting manufacturing process.
Thin body plates with intricate curved designs are made possible by the cast production process, which is not achievable with machining. Even in harsh underwater conditions, the lightweight and sturdy aluminum alloy body has gained dependability, longevity, and controllability.
Built in TTL for Ultra-accurate Strobe Firing
With the "TTL Converter" included as standard equipment, you can experience fully automatic TTL by optically triggering the INON strobe. specifically designed for INON strobe, with its flash protocol serving as the foundation for enhancing its underwater performance. We have developed the TTL Converter, an underwater strobe maker that offers consistent, reliable, and extremely accurate TTL exposure.
Strobe manual power is directly adjustable from camera
The camera directly controls the manual output strength of the INON strobe, which may be adjusted in 1/3EV steps between 1/64 and FULL. This may be useful for backlit photography or for strobing at a distance, such as with a long strobe arm.
High Speed Strobe Firing - 12 shots/sec
[High speed continuous][High speed continuous+] is completely supported by the TTL Converter. Continuous shooting using ultra-accurate TTL photography is now possible thanks to power stored in a capacitor 6. With just two CR2032 coin batteries, the INON TTL Converter successfully triggers more than 100,000 flashes, striving for efficiency in power consumption to avoid missing any important moments.
Built-in "Vacuum leak sensor"
The "Vacuum Leak Sensor" buzzes and blinks an LED during diving to alert users to the possibility of flooding. It also monitors the air pressure inside the housing to maintain housing sealing. By using a variable control software, the onboard pressure sensor modifies its sensitivity for leak detection and diving (PAT. P).
Even minute leaks are picked up by the incredibly sensitive pressure sensor. Not like traditional leak sensors, it reduces test time significantly (from 30 seconds to 3 minutes). Even in the event of temperature variations, false alarms are eliminated by the dive mode's sensitivity.
New S-MRS Port
The recently created S-MRS (Magnetic Rotary System) uses magnetic attraction to regulate zooming and focusing. When compared to the previous model, the new S-MRS operates more smoothly and with less play or rattle. The EOS R6 Mark II can also be utilized for full-time manual focusing when coupled with an RF lens to enable the usage of the MF Peaking function. This allows for ultra-precise focusing when combined with the focus guide function.
To operate the Control Ring, Focus Ring, and SA Control Ring, a maximum of three MRS Control Rings may be fitted.
"Quick Shoe System" for quick camera positioning
Fast switching between landscape and portrait camera orientation is possible with the optional "Quick Shoe W50 Plate" attached to the housing body, the "Quick Shoe Main Base" that uses INON's own Arca Swiss system, and two "D5 Holder" handles.
It not only enables you to photograph vertical composition from low angles, which is not possible with conventional systems, but it also enables you to do so without changing the lighting position.
