Nauticam has been well known in the industry for producing top quality aluminum underwater housings and the Nauticam Arri 35 Camera Housing lives up to their reputation. The housing is made from aircraft grade aluminum and the housing design has been well thought off. Erogonomics is excellent, all important camera controls are accessible through the housing and buttons, levers & dials are readily avaialble at your fingertips. 

Features:

Easy Camera Preparation - Nauticam has designed the housing to prepared very easily! Perfect for owner/operator and even for rental purposes. The entire support and lens control system has been constructed on the camera base plate which is located on the outside of the housing. Everything can be prepared on a table with good lighting and lots of working space. Once assembled on the tray, all you need to do slide it to the housing and securely locks in place.

Lens Control System - The housing features an adjustable gear tower to control the focus, iris and zoom from the large knobs on the exterior for the housing similar to the Nauticam Arri Alexa Mini & LF Digital Camera Housing. This is best for single operator usage.

For production shoots which requires remote operation and control, the housing is equipped with two upper and two lower 15mm rods which allos the us of cforce Plus and cforce mini motors paired with ARRI Hi-5 Hand Unit, the motors will drive the lens itself. With the standard housing, two motors can be mounted for short primes.  When adding on the included 100mm Housing Extension, you can mount 3 motors to the 15mm rods allowing the use of zoom lenses or longer primes.  

The housing also features 3/4″ Hydroflex style bulkhead allowing the power, remote control, and remote monitor umbilical from other Hydroflex rental systems to be used on the system.

Battery Configuration - The has been designed the ARRI B-Mount Plate which mounts directly onto the camera. There is enough space inside the housing to accommodate a different pattery pack sizes for longer operation requirements. Surface suppled power is also an option for for tethered all day shooting.

Trim Weights - Optional trim weights can be attached and can be moved independently along the length of the housings skids. Additional mounting points are also available on the housing to achieve the perfect buoyancy that the shooter's needs.

External Monitor Support - If you wish to attach external monitors such as Nauticam SmallHD 503 Underwater Housing and Nauticam Atomos Ninja V-S Monitor Housing can be mounted on the NAU-16138 and can be connected via SDI bulkheads and cables.

Patented Port Locking System - The signature port locking system fron Nauticam securely mounts the port to the housing using the lever without any twisting or threading action. Nauticam also offers various locking port extensions for diffent lenses and the dome will never twist even with long extension rings.
