Nauticam Fisheye Conversion Port Overview:
The Nauticam Fisheye Conversion Port (FCP-1) is a top of the line dome with the highest optical standard. The dome port is perfect for full frame cameras and has been manufactured using the highest quality materials to ensure exceptional optical performance. The large glass dome reduces water bleading, drastically helps with cornder sharpness on rectalinear lenses, and the large surface radius makes for fantastic over/under shots. It works with Nauticam dSLR housings, and will work with mirrorless housings.
The Nauticam FCP-1 lens gives a 28mm full frame lens full fisheye capabilities (180° coverage). Also possible to use, for example, a Nikon 28-50mm lens (Nikon Z 24-50mm, Sony 28-60mm, Canon RF 24-50mm) which will give you from 130° right through to 180°, so the full fisheye experience. The FCP is also very sharp through all zoom options.
Focus Underwater
The FCP-1 can focus from its front element to infinity in the water, much like the majority of our water contact optics. This feature enables exceptionally close-focus fish-eye shooting. When zooming through different focal lengths, you will have a range of options for your field of vision depending on the lens you choose.
Integrated Bouyancy Collar
An aluminum float collar is integrated into the FCP-1 and brings the in-water buoyancy 0.4kg negative.
Lens Compatibility
The FCP-1 is designed to function at the full-frame equivalent focal length of 28mm. A wide variety of lenses are supported, both primes and zooms for Nikon, Canon and Sony as well as Super35 Cinema Systems.
