THIS VERSION HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED - CLICK HERE FOR THE UPDATED NAUTICAM PANASONIC GH5/GH5s V HOUSING
Nauticam has released its GH5 underwater housing for the new Panasonic GH5 and GH5S cameras. It is made from solid aircraft aluminum which ensures its durability and has a depth rating of 100m. Nauticam has also designed the housing to be small and compact but not at the expense of funcionality and ergonomics. It also features integrated handles which provides a comfortable and sturdy base. Shutter lever, AEL/AFL lever and control dials are also well placed for easy operation. The housing also features a full size “Type A” HDMI Connector to the camera which provides a reliable connection for external monitors
At Bluewater Photo, we are a big fan of the Nauticam GH5 housing setup. The GH5 underwater housing is quote small compared to a dSLR setup, the handles are built into the housing, and the shutter works very well. Its small size makes it very easy to travel with. Itis also very easy to handle underwater. If you are planning on taking video, the 7-14mm and 12-35mm lenses are very popular for video, and some focus gears are available for manual focus.
