Product Overview:

Building on the solid foundation Nauticam has established around earlier Atomos monitor/recorder housings, the Nauticam NA-Shinobi-S does the same. The Shinobi SDI monitor is compatible with the NA-Shinobi-S.

Two rotating locking levers hold the Shinobi in place while it is simply mounted in the housing without the need for trays or other mounting devices.

Up to the NP-F970 size battery, which offers about 4 hours of run time, can be used with the NA-Shinobi. The vacuum check and leak detection system is run by a CR-2032 battery. A clearly noticeable multi-color LED on top of the housing provides real-time feedback regarding the waterproof integrity of the housing when utilized with the accompanying Vacuum Valve.

A set of buttons and a selector knob located beneath the housing's screen provide access to the Shinobi's touchscreen controls.

Housing Features

Rotary Locking Latch

The enclosure is sealed with an large rotating latch that secures firmly in place to prevent unintentional opening. When the monitor is installed, it just needs to be dropped into the housing, locked in place with two latches, and ready to use. No control functions need to be preset or aligned.

Monitor Shade

A removable monitor shade, held securely in place with four small screws is included with the NA-Shinobi housing and provides better monitor visibility in bright conditions.
