Nauticam has been known to provide top quality aluminum housings with great ergonomics. The Nauticam Nauticam Atomos Shogun Housing lives up to Nauticams reputation. The housing provides a larger view from the 5" SmallHD 503 Monitor and having an external monitor when shooting videos and photos makes a huge difference. Composing your shot with a clear, bright view of the subject, and having better information on exposure, color and lighting levels can be the difference between good footage and incredible footage. Ergonomics for the housing is also great.  Buttons are readily available at your fingertips and provides access to all monitor controls, and the complete menu system is available in the housing, and at depth. The joystick navigation system translates to  four directional arrows and the center button for select. Dedicated back/power, F1 and F2 buttons as well for easy operation. 

Key Features:

Cross Conversion & Passthrough

The housing can perform as a passthrough monitor, pasing either HDMI or SDI to a surface monitor. It features a M28 bulkhead HD-SDI or HDMI cable. The monitor features a corss-coversion function.

HDMI and SDI Versions

The NA-503 Housing support both HDMI or SDI input. Two versions of the housing are available to support either configuration.

Rotary Locking Latch

Nauticam's Rotary Locking Latch securely seals the housing and prevents accidental opening.

SmallHD 503 Monitor Exposure Tools:

Exposure Assist (False Color)

Overlay mode which paints the areas that may be overexposed or underexposed based on the values set. 

Zebra

Displays striped pattern over the areas that are in danger of being underexposed or overexposed based on the values set. 

Waveform

Displays a brightness image map matching the screen.

RGB Parade (Histogram)

This tool shows an RGB Luminance Histogram that allows for easy judgement of each channel and the overall image's exposure.

Pixel Zoom

Allows to zoom in on any page to ensure that the focus are tack-sharp.

Focus Assist

Highlights the sharpest areas of the image.

Peaking

Subtle version of the Focus Assist feature.
