Nauticam Sony FX3/FX30 Underwater Housing
Nauticam is constantly rethinking its underwater housing designs to create the absolute best user experience when shooting underwater, and the Nauticam Sony FX3/FX30 Underwater Housing is no exception. Their housings are crafted from high-quality aluminum material and have been well designed so that all buttons, dials and levers are readily available at your fingertips. In addition, the controls are clearly labeled. The housing also maintains a small footprint which makes it great for traveling. The housing also features an integrated vacuum monitoring and leak detection system.
Key Features:
Patented Port Locking System
The locking lever has become a signature of the Nauticam brand. No twisting or threading action is required to mount a port, and it locks securely in place with this lever.
Rotary Locking Latch
An oversized rotary latch seals the housing, and securely locks in place without risk of accidental opening.
Mission Control
Nauticam has a reputation of providing excellent ergonomics on all of their housings, and the NA-FX3 lives up to their name. Buttons, levers and dials are easily accessible and very intuitively located. Even while wearing thick gloves the housing controls are very easy to operate.
Connectivity
The housing features an M24 & M16 bulkhead that supports the Nauticam HDMI 2.0/1.4 cable system which can be paired with supported external monitors and recorders such as Atomos Ninja V, Atomos Shogus 7 & SmallHD 502 HDMI and SDI.
Optics
Nauticam offers various ports for tons of lens options. In addition, high quality wide angle and macro lenses are also compatible with the camera.
Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System
The housing includes Nauticams Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System. When combined with M14 Vacuum Valve II, the system provides a constant update on the housings seal integrity. A simple color coded LED system lets the user know that the housing maintains the pressure or if the housing is losing vacuum. The leak detection provides an audible and visual indicator when there is a water breach. The system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temp or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.
