Nauticam Zoom Gear

for Olympus 12-50mm lens and Nauticam Panasonic GH5 Underwater Housing

Product Overview:

Nauticam Zoom Gear is specifically designed to used with Olympus 12-50mm lens and Nauticam Panasonic GH5 Underwater Housing as well as the Nauticam Olympus EM1X Underwater Housing.

The original Nauticam zoom gear for Olympus 12-50mm lens is not compatible with the Nauticam GH5 housing or the Nauticam EM1X housing. This zoom gear has been redesigned specifically to work with the NA-GH5 housing and Olympus 12-50mm lens. This new zoom gear features a gear ring with fewer teeth than the original gear ring in the 12-50mm zoom gear. This prevents the gear from hitting part of the camera and causing issues when zooming.

NOTES:

If you are upgrading to the Panasonic GH5 and already own the 12-50mm lens and Nauticam Zoom Gear, you do not need to purchase an entire new kit. Simply purchase the replacement Gear Ring for GH5 to swap out on your lens.

If you do not yet own the zoom gear for the 12-50mm lens, we recommend you purchase the Zoom Gear and Port kit for GH5, as the 12-50mm lens requires a special macro port with focus knob in order to engage and disengage the macro mode on the lens. In addition the port is a wider 77mm diameter in order to accomodate the larger zoom gear. Other macro / flat ports will not work with this lens and zoom gear combination.

If you own any other Olympus or Panasonic mirrorless camera and the 12-50mm lens, you do not want this gear. You should purchase the original Zoom Gear and Port Kit.
