The Olympus PTMC-01 is a high quality macro lens that works on many of the Olympus housings that have a 67mm thread. The lens could be used with other Olympus housings with the use of a step-up ring. The lens has a magnification of 2x.
The lens allows you to get close to small subjects. This will improve your underwater photos by increasing contrast and color saturation.
Underwater Macro Conversion lens designed for use with Olympus PT-020, PT-022, PT-027 and PT-037 housings.
Screws directly to the front of all PT housings listed above except the PT-037. It is advised to use Silicone Grease for PT Series Underwater Housings on the lens threads prior to attaching.
Note: The PT-EP01 and PT-EP03 housing both require the Olympus Macro Lens Adaptor in order to mount this macro lens.
The PT-037 Underwater Housing requires Macro Lens Adapter (PMLA-01) for PT-037 for attachment. Macro shooting can be achieved with the built in UW Macro scene mode without adapter and lens. However for greater creative control of your shot, the adapter and macro lens permits use of the camera's manual settings.
Lens comes in a protective case.
