Olympus PT-EP06 underwater housing for the E-PM1
This great housing for the Olympus E-PM1 is depth-rated to 45 meters (150ft). Â The design has easy to use controls, and is similar to the Olympus E-PL2 housing, which has great reviews.Â
The Olympus E-PM1 camera focuses faster than the earlier E-PL1 and E-PL2 models, and is the best priced PEN camera on the market in our opinion, producing the exact same images as the E-PL3, at a better price.
This version does not have the built-in lights, which are not very useful and saves you $200 which you can apply towards a Sola 500, which is about 50 times stronger than the Olympus port lights. However, it also does not include the 67mm threads that the housing with lights has. If you plan to use a wide angle wet lens you will need the housing with lights. (We highly suggest using the Panasonic 8mm fisheye and dome port for better quality wide angle photos, not a wet lens)
*small housing modification required for 8mm fisheye dome ports, watch the video.
