Product Design and Construction
The ONEUW One 160X MkII is made from high-quality hard anodized anticorodal aluminium, ensuring robustness and precision at levels of excellence. The strobe body, constructed with stainless steel control shafts featuring double sealing o-rings, guarantees an extremely strong build. This design allows the strobe to withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 200 meters, making it suitable for all technical dives.
Optimal Lighting
The ONEUW One 160X MkII is designed to provide the best light for your images. It features a circular flash lamp with a warm coating placed on a parabolic reflector with a dome port. This configuration ensures a high-quality light with a wide, uniform coverage and a slightly warm color temperature. The strobe also includes an LED coaxial pilot light with two power levels and an AF assistance mode.
Controls and Functionality
The strobe features large, ergonomically designed controls that are easy to handle and insensitive to hydrostatic pressure. The controls are laid out simply and rationally, providing a broad maneuvering area. The strobe also includes a wide, easily readable control display.
The ONEUW One 160X MkII offers multiple shooting modes, including Nikon, Canon, Sony digital TTL, s-TTL, film TTL, and manual. It provides energy control in manual mode at ½ f-stop increments over a range of -6 and exposure compensation in TTL mode at â…“ f-stop increments over a range of +/-2.
Power Supply
The strobe is powered by a removable NiMH battery pack made with professional high-energy cells from Panasonic. It ensures more than 250 flashes at full power and boasts fast recycling times, managed by a CPU, ranging from 0.1 to 1.6 seconds.
Connections and Synchronization
The ONEUW One 160X MkII offers full interface capabilities, without any limitation on use. It is equipped with both an S6 type synchro cable socket and a Sea&Sea; type fiber-optic cable socket. Moreover, an optical receiver is located on the front reflector for slave flash mode.
