Seacam Seaflash 160 Digital Underwater Strobe

**Available for Nikon/Canon/Sony**

The Seacam Seaflash 160 is a high-performance underwater strobe designed to bring your underwater photography to life. It’s not just any strobe; it’s a digital strobe, which means it’s packed with advanced technology to give you the best possible lighting for your shots. Whether you’re capturing the vibrant colors of a coral reef or the subtle details of a tiny seahorse, this strobe ensures your photos are sharp, well-lit, and full of life.

Key Features of the Seacam Seaflash 160

Taking a closer look at what makes the Seacam Seaflash 160 a top choice for underwater photographers:

1. Powerful Output

The Seaflash 160 boasts a power output of 160Ws, which translates to a powerful burst of light that can illuminate even the darkest underwater scenes. Whether you’re shooting in the murky waters of a lake or the deep blue sea, this strobe ensures your subject is well-lit and your colors pop.

2. Digital Control

One of the standout features of the Seaflash 160 is its digital control system. Unlike traditional strobes that rely on manual adjustments, this strobe allows you to control the power output digitally. This means you can fine-tune the lighting to match your specific needs, whether you’re shooting a close-up of a tiny critter or a wide-angle shot of a coral reef.

3. Recycling Time

In the fast-paced world of underwater photography, you don’t want to miss a shot because your strobe is still recharging. The Seaflash 160 has a quick recycling time (0.1 -2.7 sec depending on power setting), ensuring you’re ready to capture the next moment without delay.

4. Compact and Lightweight

Underwater photography gear can be bulky and heavy, but the Seaflash 160 is designed with portability in mind. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry and maneuver underwater. You won’t have to worry about it weighing you down or getting in the way of your shot.

5. Durable Construction

Underwater environments can be harsh. Saltwater, pressure, and rough handling can take a toll on your gear. The Seaflash 160 is built to withstand these challenges, with a robust construction that’s both waterproof and shockproof.

6. Versatility

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, the Seaflash 160 is versatile enough to meet your needs. It’s compatible with a wide range of cameras and housings, and its adjustable power settings make it suitable for various shooting conditions.

Seacam Seaflash 160 Digital vs 160 Offshore

There are 2 versions of the Seaflash 160 underwater strobe, namely the 160 Digital and the 160 Offshore. The differences being:

The Seaflash 160 Digital represents the standard version of the strobe. The OFFSHORE version of the Seaflash 160 strobe has all the electronic functions of the regular model, the important differences are found in the exterior. The hardened aluminum back plate and latch are the reinforced base of this robust strobe, while the small details such as the double sealed display glass, practical switch extensions and reinforced controls guarantee safe and pleasant operation – especially in harsh conditions such as in ice water or depths up to ‑200m.
