The Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC Maro OS HSM Contemporary Lens is a very flexible lens as you can shoot wide angle to super telephoto range. Being a part of Sigma's Contemporary series, the lens is compact, lightweight and versatile. The lens has been designed to utilize a series of low dispersion and aspherical elements to vastly reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range. In addition, the Super Multi-Layer Coating helps reduce lens flares and ghosting. The lens is also great for close up shooting with a 1:3 maximum magnification and 1.3' minimum focusing distance.
The lens also features the Hyper Sonic Motor for ultra fast autofocus so you'll never miss a shot. The optical stabilizer helps in minimizing camera shake. The lens also features a rounded 7 blade diaphragm to produce a very pleasing bokeh.
