Sony 28mm F2 FE Lens
The Sony 28mm F2 FE lens is a fast, wide-angle prime lens designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but is also compatible with APS-C bodies. On the smaller sensor size of APS-C cameras, the equivalent focal length is 42mm. This is an excellent lens for those looking to add a new prime lens to their kit bag. Being relatively lightweight, compact and affordable, this lens perfectly lends itself to travel, and we often recommend it to underwater photographers because of this.
While the 28mm focal length isn't as common as its 35mm counterpart, it offers photographers the chance to get a little more in the frame while not having to worry about ultra-wide-angle distortion, something we particularly appreciate when shooting with it underwater.
