The FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS Full-frame Telephoto Prime G Master lens is the lightest large-aperture telephoto prime lens in its class. It weighs just 51.9 oz (1470 g -excluding tripod mount), and it offers exceptional optical performance and rendering together with remarkably quick and accurate AF. To achieve the optimal balance, the lens's design places less weight at the front of the object. Long handheld photography sessions can be less stressful and exhausting if this is done.

Incredible Resolution
A unique optical design that efficiently reduces both axial and lateral chromatic aberration consists of three Super ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements and one ED glass element. Excellent contrast and resolution are preserved all the way to the image borders, enabling more adaptable cropping and editing.
