USED: Fantasea Line BigEye F Series Wide-Angle Lens for FP7000, FP7100, FG15, or FG16 Underwater Housing
Condition: Excellent (missing dome shade)
A patented wide-angle lens for the following underwater housings: the FP7000 for the Nikon Coolpix P7000 camera, the FP7100 for the Nikon P7100 camera, the FG15 for the Canon PowerShot G15 camera, and the FG16 for the Canon PowerShot G16 camera is the BigEye F Series Wide-Angle Lens for FP7000, FP7100, FG15, or FG16 Housing for Nikon P7000 / P7100 from Fantasea Line. Throughout the dive, it can be put on and taken off. It fits over the housing port. Water should only enter the space between the lens and the housing lens port when the lens is mounted underwater. Before using, be sure that there are no air bubbles lodged between the lens and the port. To prevent blurry images when shooting pictures with the BigEye Lens installed, make sure your camera is focused in "MACRO" mode.
The lens has a 200' (60 m) depth rating. This lens is ideal for capturing a wide range of subjects, such as divers, shipwrecks, seascapes, and schools of fish, as it permits close-up shots without sacrificing coverage angle. You may lessen distortion and obtain sharper, more accurate photos by keeping as little water and distance as possible between you and your subject. The lens has a magnification of 127% (0.57x). The camera lens's original 80° angle of coverage is restored thanks to the air pocket inside the lens, which increases the angle of light refraction.
Vibrant and colorful photos or movies can be produced by putting color correction filters inside the lens thanks to the BigEye. The blue filtering effect of the ocean causes some tones to be lost underwater; color correcting filters assist restore some of those tones. A specific slot in the lens makes it simple to insert red or pink color correcting insert discs—which are not included—into the lens. The Fantasea Line RedEye Filter FP7000 #5211 comes with the RedEye insert, while the PinkEye Filter FP7000 #5212 comes with the PinkEye insert.
When the lens is put on the housing, you should use an optional external strobe since the BigEye Lens covers the camera's internal flash, which causes underexposed or darkened photographs. Your lighting will be improved as a result, producing nicer photos.
