The updated Hydra 3500S+ WRSU RGB now features an incredibly bright 4500 Lumen Strobe Burst Mode as well as an RGB mode with 9 different color options for creative lighting. When connected to your housing with a fiber optic cable the light will burst in time with your photo in order to offer a strobe like flash to help better illuminate a still photo.
The Hydra 3500S+ is a high powered underwater video light from Kraken Sports. The light includes a flood, spot, red and UV beam, in addition to the strobe burst making it a truly a universal light. An optional remote control allows for easy adjustments directly from the handle of your tray.
The Kraken 3500S+ is a power regulated video light, which means the light intensity does not decrease during the dive like many "budget" video lights do. The Kraken Video Lights offer high performance at a lower cost, making them an ideal option for all levels of videographers.
The light head of the Kraken Hydra 3500S+ is water resistant, which protects the expensive light elements in case of a flood. While you'll likely have to replace the battery, the light head will still be functional.
How to use the burst feature and the remote control
- Connect your camera's internal flash to the Kraken light via a Sea & Sea style fiber optic cable to trigger the "Burst mode" for still photos
- Connect the optional Kraken remote control to the Kraken light via a Sea & Sea fiber optic cable to control the light remotely. Each remote can control up to 2 lights.
