Nauticam WWL-1 Overview:
This completely sealed and underwater mountable wide angle lens is designed to be used in water - with the refractive index of optical glass to water accounted for at every step in the design process. Optimized for best wide angle performance at the 28mm equivalent focal length, the lens offers 130° diagonal field of view with low distortion, extremely high overall sharpness (especially in the corners), excellent contrast, and resistance to flare. Includes both M67 (67mm) threads and the Nauticam Bayonet Mount.
The WWL-1 is an all around fantastic lens. The corners remain sharp even when the zoom is at it's widest with compatible lenses. The lens offers a variety of shooting methods with it's zoom through capabilities. Using a 14-42mm, you are able to have a fisheye effect at 14mm, and closeup shots at 42mm without ever sacrificing quality. Nauticam is constantly pushing the boundaries of underwater optics and the WWL-1 is no exception.
* Note: If Nauticam WWL-1 is used with Nauticam Buoyancy Collar for WWL-1, we recommend to use Nauticam Hard Cap for WWL-1 Lens as the included neoprene cover would not fit when buoyancy collar is in place.
