The lens itself is relatively lightweight and compact considering it is a macro lens and, even though it is a more affordable option, it's outstanding value for money. The focus is pin-sharp and the visually pleasing bokeh it produces, thanks to seven rounded aperture blades, means you can capture subjects close up in great detail and really make them pop.
