The Venus Optics Laowa 24mm 2X Macro Probe Lens is an amazing macro lens that provides a 2:1 max magnification with a compelling wide angle ‘Bug Eye’ perspective. It features a wide angle design means much greater depth of field at close distances. It has very distinct and unique long and slender barrel with an LED ring mounted on the tip of the lens. The front barrel of the lens is also waterproof.

Since Laowa designed the end of the 24mm macro probe lens to be waterproof, the Nauticam port for the Laowa lens leaves the original front element of the lens ourside the port opening. It is a particularly innovative and elegant design and truly opens the flood-gates to a wonderful creative new style of imaging. 

Key Features:

• Magnification - provides maximum magnification of 2:1 with a minimum focusing distance of 1.5 ft and working distance of 0.8 in.
• Lens Design - The lens has been designed to produce a distinct "bug eye" perspective with is long tubular barrel. With this design, it give you an ample shooting distance between the subject and the camera. The front of the lens is also waterproof.
• Optics - Two extra low dispersion elements gives better clarity and accurate colors. It also reduces spherical aberrations and distortion.
• LED Ring Light - The lens has a built-in LED ring in front of the lens to provide a focus light when shooting the close-up subjects.
• Macro - The lens has been designed to be a close-up macro lens with manual focus. It also produces pleasing bokeh.
