The Laowa 24mm f/14 2x Macro Probe is a type of macro lens known as a "Bugeye" lens. It offers a refreshingly creative perspective for macro photography, bringing you eye-to-eye with tiny marine subjects. The 24mm focal length is a fun macro focal length, as you can achieve the sharp, close-focus detail characteristic of other macro lenses while still providing room in the frame to show the subject's environment as well. Additionally, the Laowa 24mm macro probe lens has a series of LED lights located at the tip of the very long probe. This allows you to reach inside and illuminate narrow nooks and crannys that you would not otherwise be able to access with a conventional macro lens. 

Since Laowa designed the end of the 24mm macro probe lens to be waterproof, the Nauticam system for the Laowa lens leaves the original front element of the lens ourside the port opening. It is a particularly innovative and elegant design and truly opens the flood-gates to a wonderful creative new style of imaging. 

The Nauticam N120 Port Adaptor is designed to be used for the Laowa 24mm f/14 2x Macro Probe Lens with either cinema housings or dslr housings. The lens also comes in two Focus/Iris control variations, the Standard and Cine-mod versions. The Cine-mod version features de-clicked aperture adjustments as well as cinema-styled focus to allow for easier follow focus.
